Baton Rouge's Cottonwood Books has been owned and operated by Danny Plaisance for the past 24 years.  Since 1986 Cottonwood Books has sold new used and rare books.  Consisting of 35,000 used and rare books as well as 7000 hand picked new titles to choose from.  Concentrating on Louisiana History, The Civil War and Southern Literature.

Danny and his wife Nancy have three children: Daniel, Todd, and Sarah.  Danny is a former board member for the Foundation for Historical Louisiana as well as a past President and current board member of the Baton Rouge Civil War Round Table.
